Meet Me

The Boring Stuff: I'm Sarah. I'm a 26 year old mommy to a 3 year old boy, Zach; a bouncy baby boy, Isaiah; and stepmom to 16 year old Kendra. I live in an outer suburb of Saint Paul, Minnesota with my kids and their dad, Jerome. After dating for over 5 years and living in sin for much of that time, we finally decided make things official and tied the knot in March 2010. I quit working in October 2008, when we moved into our new house, and started watching other kiddos in my home so that I could also be home with Zach. Way to put my college degree to use!

The Fun Stuff: OK, so maybe it's not that fun. I'm not a very exciting person :) I like to read and attempt to cook. I'd love to get back into some dance classes, if for nothing else to give myself some time away from kids! I like to think that I can be crafty, but I usually give up on projects halfway through. Scrapbooking stresses me out; I like things with strict patterns. For 2010, I'm determined to give knitting a solid try ... by which I mean I intend to finish 75% of the knitting projects I start! My other goal for 2010 is to work hard to get my pre-baby body back. I dropped the pounds after Zach pretty quickly, but never tried to get my muscle tone back. MUSCLE is my goal for the last half of the year! Well muscle tone, not bulk ;) My dream vacation would be a small cruise through the Galapagos Islands (oh yea, I like Darwin), but in the middle of a Minnesota winter I'd settle for just about anyplace with temperatures over 50.
